Coronavirus (Covid-19) and Small Business: Why you need a website NOW more than ever before.
Updated: Jan 23, 2021
Coronavirus is now a pandemic. Social media feeds have been taken over with COVID-19, the stock market has plummeted and all we can do right now is keep our social distance. People are panicking and businesses are suffering. We aren't trying to be insensitive to the situation here, but are trying to be realistic about what it means to survive when the economy isn't at it's best.
Your business needs an online presence now more than ever. It needs to be found by the those people who are too scared to venture out. People who have the need to continue working or purchase your product or service. You have to keep connecting with people while they are too scared to go outside. If we are strictly speaking about the total isolation of most of the population, having a way for your customers and clients to still reach out to you and continue business is a must.
Don’t miss out on a large amount of business by not having even just a contact form to get the sales process started. Odds are your customers are local. The word of mouth marketing campaign will only get you so far. A website expands your reach, and allows people to get to know your business even when they are too scared to leave their homes. It doesn’t matter if you are selling products or a service, having an online space where users can at least reach out to you via a contact form is already going above the standard hours of operation.
NOW is the time to be proactive about getting this part of your business handled. This way, you can plan for the future where there isn’t a pandemic going on and will be able to even grow your business.
Most businesses just need a basic site. Maybe 1 page, or maybe 4 or 5 pages will get you out there to the world and keep you in contact with consumers. We can make this happen. We make basic beautiful!
